The short-acting GHRH-analog reference compound for pulsatile GH-axis studies.

What it is

CJC-1295 no DAC — also called Modified GRF (1-29) — is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. Without the drug-affinity complex (DAC) of the long-acting form, it clears the plasma within minutes, producing a short, pulsatile signal at the GHRH receptor.

It is used in the laboratory as a short-acting reference compound in somatotropic-axis and pituitary-signaling research, frequently studied alongside a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist. Supplied strictly for research use.

Reconstitution & storage

  • Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water — add slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently; do not shake.
  • Store lyophilized vials at -20C; once reconstituted keep at 2-8C and use within 16 weeks.
  • Protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Questions

Is this for human or animal use?
No. CJC-1295 no DAC is supplied strictly for in-vitro and pre-clinical laboratory research - not for human or animal consumption.
How is this different from CJC-1295 DAC?
The no-DAC form (Mod GRF 1-29) omits the drug-affinity complex, so it is short-acting with a half-life of minutes, versus the DAC form which binds serum albumin and persists for days.
